CAMPING ADVENTURE OF LABOUR DAY LONG WEEKEND

We had this great secret camping spot lined up for the labour day long weekend in south Gippsland but when we finally made it down the 4x4 track with a lot of low lying branches we found the spot to be a dud, just a graveled area in among paddocks with 500+ meter walk to the beach on a very very hot day! So we went to our back up plan Bear Gully which wasn't too far way but was packed out not one tinie tiny space for us to crash the night, so we continued on and found an information center and asked there is there was anywhere we could stay. She said everywhere was busy BUT there was a beautiful rest area where people camp but she assumed it would be full. It was only 10 minutes down the road but It wasn't packed in fact we got a spot all to ourselves and were quite secluded for a bustling area. It was about 45 minutes from Wilson's Promontory which is where we wanted to explore the next day. We came back and stayed another night after The Prom and then on the way home we explored the area. There was a waterfall near by which was beautiful and we went 4x4ing on the way home.

Here are some pics from the weekend!
