DAY 3 - PILLIGA ARTISAN BORE BATHS

We spent the day at Pilliga artisan bore baths. I have been wanting to visit here for quite a while. The hot springs are a beautiful 37 degrees Celsius and a pool has been created around the hot springs to catch the water that is being pumped out. There is a shade structure over the pool which is needed in the hot heat of the New South Wales outback sun. And there is free camping on a grassy area around the pool. Be warned it floods here and a small shower can see the water table rise so it's better to camp where the green grass does not grow and on the high ground.
