Not much has happened in the garden this week. Not to my surprise as the summer crops have been replaced with seedlings for winter. We had a few broken eggs this week as well as we went away for the Easter long weekend (post to come) and the eggs piled up in the nest.

How many chickens do you have?
ReplyDeleteLeo we have 8 chickens although 4 of those are pullets so only 1 or 2 are laying and we have 2 sussex hens that do not lay daily (but lay over more years although I don't think one of those birds lay's and the other has been broody over the past 3 months so her laying has ceased for now - they were all rescue hens from a local animal shelter)
